GET FESTIVAL FABULOUS!!

 The countdown to Oxygen is on .......shenanigans kick off in 9 days and if you are one of the thousands who plan of braving this bipolar weather, that we lovingly call summer, it's time to start thinking about getting your tent, wellies, and battery-powered hair-straighteners in order. So I have decided to give you my top ten tips for ensuring that you stay festival-fabulous.

Forget packing light. Who knows what the weather's going to be like? Pop everything (well, except your KG's, they should stay home) into a wheely suitcase.  Don't forget your Dry shampoo, Wet wipes festival essentials!!  

Make some friends
Get to know your neighbours and they’ll watch out for your stuff, share dodgy cider with you and generally give you a warm feeling. 

Equip your iPhone. The Tent Finder App stores the location and a photo of your tent, and your mates' too, plus it has a torch - all to help you get home in the wee hours, or else you might be sleeping with the Hari Krishnas!

Mix and match. Don't be precious about your clothes: reason that the most stylish (and photographed) girls at festivals look laid back and 'thrown together' is because they share with their mates as they go along.  Mix and match is the key!!!

Tune in to festival radio. Dedicated stations give you up-to-the-minute info on what's happening.  

Wear a cross-body bag. My number one fashion must-have: make sure that it's big enough for your phone, money and other essentials. Leave any other valuables (yes, even your pretty new iPad) at home.

Leg it!!.  Packing several pairs of leggings will give you something lightweight, clean and dry for your lower half on a daily basis (jeans once wet, will stay wet and heavy). If it is a wet one, keep smiling and count yourself lucky that you have the opportunity to float through the festival on an inflatable object or mud wrestle if it takes your fancy!!

Prepare for the end. It's sad when it's time to go home! But you will feel much less sad if you keep a set of clean clothes for the journey back, and make sure to keep them in a plastic bag, so they stay clean and dry all weekend!

But most of all............ENJOY IT!!!

KATIE PRICE TRIES TO BREAK WORLD RECORD..........PITY ITS NOT A SPONSERED SILENCE!!

We all know that Katie Price has been trying to break the world record for column inches over the last decade, but now she's officially trying to make it into the book - with the title for the Largest Book Signing by a Single Author.  So, technically the only talent she needs to have, is to be able to write her own name..........who knew she had mastered that!

Here comes the science .......Apparently the current record is held by former world chess champion, Anatoli Karpov, who signed 1,951 copies of his book in 8 hours on 21 October 2006, so Pricey is going to have her work cut out. I suggest she chooses an easier one to beat - Most disliked celeb, biggest display of attention-seeking, Biggest eyebrows in show biz (although Dublin has a few rivals for that title), Worst dressed, The list goes on.

Lets hope she doesn't get wrist fatigue from all that signing, although she has probably had oodles of time to build up those muscles......! I wonder if anyone will even turn up??

1. Describe your style.
Ohh, ok, this is a tough one. I'd say my style was funky, Fresh..although my mates would probably use two different words to describe it, I can't swear on this right???

2. Who's your favourite designer?

Loving Elvis/Jesus at the mo, especially coming into summer, their t-shirts are amazing...they're more like pieces of handmade art than clothes.....I had one, that I was genuinely afraid to wear! I had it in my wardrobe for 3 months, til New Years Eve, and I thought, ok...this is a big enough ocassion for it! It has to be handwashed and No, I havent worn it since!!!

3. Favourite High Street Shop?
I always seem to find myself wandering around Harvey Nichols with my mouth open and my wallet empty, never a good combo!!! I probably get most of my clothes in Genius or Urban Outfitters, and Zara are always good for jeans too.


4. How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Music Loving Messer


5. What could you not live without?
My iPhone! No Joke!! I honestly don't know what I would do if something happened in my life and I couldnt Tweet about it immediately after!


6. If I gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?
If I asked a girl this question I'd get done for sexual harassemet........


7. What's the best thing since sliced bread?
Video Cameras. capturing life and preserving it forever. What could be better?


8. What 3 items would you take to a desert island with you?
Would I have WIFI?? if so, a laptop....otherwise, a camera, my guitar, I'm terrible at playing but if I was on an island I'd have all day to practice! oh, and my iPod, I cant live without my music.


9. What's your best and worst quality?
Probably that I'm too sound!! nah....I dunno...eh..I do have a bit od OCD, I just like things in there place and can't understand why someone wouldn't put things where they belong!! Oh and if you use a pot to make some dinner, WASH IT!!! Sorry...I have calmed down now...go on!!!


10. What's one thing you always carry with you?
I leave wristbands on after big events!! Like my Oxegen one stayed on for months!! It's for sentimental reasons though, not to show off, I was once in the VIP section, as most people seem to think when they see them.


11. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
I've actually been lucky enough to meet my idol. It happened about 5 years ago, I was at a charity ball and he was there. I bumped into him outside the toilets and had a chat with him. Told him how he had inspired me so much throughout my childhood and that he was the one whogot me interested in Art, which has lead me to be creative in every aspect of my life, even through my clothing choice. The legend that is Don Conroy. Aside from that, it would have to be Zack Morris from 'Saved by the Bell'....or Kelly Kapowski....she's my ultimate dream girl.


12. Favourite Song?
Changes so often.....some all time fav's are 'New York minute' by Don Henley or 'Float on' by Modest Mouse.


13. Favourite food?
Well, I love to cook, I do a mean Chicken and Broccoli bake. If I'm hanging though, its got to be a certain American themed diner, yes, I will have the garlic cheese chips please......aww god!!! I'm getting hungry thinking about it!!


14. What's your dream car?
How can I possibly pick one?? I absolutely love cars!! Probably go for a Lamborghini Murcielago, or AUDI R8.


15. Who inspires you?
New Talent!! When I see some snotty nosed kid producing a tight video or writing a funny script, it gives me the drive to further myself in my career...


16. What's one thing no one knows about you?
HA!! as if.....I don't have secrets but the ones I do have, I keep close to my chest.....I used to be a girl!!!


17. What's the most embarrassing item of clothing in your wardrobe?
I bought a pair of florescent yellow jeans last year, as a joke for a glow in the dark party, which were pretty embarassing at the time. They have actually worked their way into my everyday wardrobe! Once you own a pair of glow in the dark jeans.....nothing else will embarrass you.


18. If you were a biscuit, what would you be an why?
I'd probably be one of thise biscuits that, at first glance, look like a plain chocolate buscuit, but when you take the time to eat it, you discover theres actually layers of vanilla cream under the chocolate coating.......(that's a metaphor Niamh, I'm not actually covered in chocolate!) I'm totally trying to visualise that now!!!


19. Who are the last 3 people you called?
My Mom. Noddy, My Brother and David Knight, one of my best mates (that's what I tell him anyway!)


20. What one thing do you think every man should know about women?
That they are all crazy, but it's not their fault....we will never know the rollercoster of emotion that is 'their hormones' !!!
